Long plane ride to Taiwan

Thought I would sleep and watch movies throughout the 15-hr plane ride, but ended up reading a book I got last year Flowers in the Snow - Mindfulness in Action, which tells many stories about volunteer efforts. I was really moved by most of the stories, especially the ones about the earthquake in Haiti, what the Haitian people went through and what volunteers did to help them as much as possible during tough times.

Chinese New Year limited edition holiday card

I found a pack of CD label stickers and a box of winter holiday cards from a few years ago. Haven't needed any CD labels since finding out that CDs aren't really environmentally friendly, so I thought "why not make something out of these?"
Turns out these peel-and-stick labels are GREAT for arts and crafts! I'm excited to make more things with them :D
